Coleman tank: which model does it belong to?

There is anyway the not negligeable probability that stupids will kill accidentally their offspings, or transmit them culturally the basics of stupidity.
And here comes an interesting scientific question: can stupidity been not only genetically transmitted but been teached too?
I am afraid the answewr is yes.

The answer to scientifically kill any such discussion is to say that we cannot determine yet whether it's nature (inherited) of nurture (learned) and further research is needed
Could be epigenetics too: f.i. influences on the child whilst in the womb like smoking, stress, drinking, omega-3 fats. The child's intelligence is increased when the mother eats omega-3 fats during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

 

Back to my 413G: Old Coleman Parts just sent me generator, spare pump leather amd a serie of burner rings and spacers. As I get them I'll post picture of the results.

I ordered the spare serie of burner rings as I have seen theat if I add a couple of groved rings and spacer to the main burner, when using it at full trottle (secondary off) no more yellow flame tips, even burning kerosene.

The central fill location totally sucks when you want to drain the tank for storage. The best I can do is drain some out, shake some out (I'm not very EPAish :-) ), then I pump it up about a hundred strokes, aim the generator away from anything good and open the valve.

 

As an experiment, I tried exchanging tanks on my eight Coleman suitcase stoves from a 425C to a three burner and many in between. They were not at all fussy about tanks and generators as long as the generator reached the fuel inlet. Some burned better than others, of course, but most burned well enough that the "average Joe" wouldn't know the difference. All run well on propane with a $15 adapter too.

So my take is that as long as the stove runs well enough, a tank is a tank.

Might make some difference using, say, a 425 genny on a 413 or a 426. They use a fatter genny, more volume.

T'other way around, no problem, just throttle it down a bit.
