I've listed this under Great Britain/Other. The instructions are from Primus-Sievert UK Ltd with a factory address in Formby, UK. I've never seen these outside of the UK & I suspect they were a Primus-Sievert UK product for the home market. I also suspect this is 1970's to early 80's from the telephone number code & the fact the stove at the core of this heater is a Hipolito No:1 rather than a Svea. This also comes with the pan-ring & legs so the stove can be taken out & used as such. Instructions Link Instructions for the burner Link I'd been outbid on this months if not a year or 2 ago on ebay. The buyer, Fra, is a member here & contacted me recently & offered me a deal on it which I couldn't refuse. Thanks Fra!
Good to see the " Victory " on display. It really is a lovely bit of kit and I'm glad it has gone to a good home. Cheers Fra

I have most of a Taylor's paraffin boat heater sans the burner assembly, I'd doesn't fit my boat and tbh I've thought of moving it on for a while for someone else to build up and use

Hello, I'm new here, found this forum after looking on Google about the Victory heater installed on my new boat. Here some pics, i have to try it out in the next weeks, according to the previous owner, he never used it once in the 35 years he owned the boat. Any recommendations before I fire it up the first time? I do have experience with MSR cooking stove and AIDA kerozine lights.
Hi, Welcome to CCS. Your Victory heater is basically a standard 2pint capacity domestic kerosene stove place in an elaborate housing. If it has not been run for 35 years, all seals and washers in the stove should be inspected and probably replaced. The heat-resistant burner washers for example are likely asbestos-bearing and will need to be handled carefully and properly disposed of. The fuel tank should be flushed out and cleaned, before bing refilled with plain kerosene....Not Lamp-oil! The housing should be checked for soundness, and very importantly, for good ventilation of the flue gases to the outside atmosphere. A seal set for a Standard 2-pint capacity kerosene stove can be purchased from the Fettle Box: Stove Washer Kits - The Fettlebox Good Luck with your heater, Best Regards, Kerophile.
