G,,day I just had a SVEA brassie delivered to me silent burner, missing silent burner cap, inner cap is a companion. trivet branded SVEA, fount , SVEA, king of stoves, the rest is possibly Arabic?? very dirty but appears in good condition. wing type filler branded SVEA. convex bottom of fount made in Sweden. I did a search , cant find it. any help please, I am just about to take a couple of photos, but it is dark. and I have trouble posting photos. cheers kerry
Gidday Kerry. Nice stoves them SVEA tripodicus stoves. The Companion inner burner cap would be made to SVEA specs I suspect as Companion was made under the SIEVERT license in Australia. Shouldn't be too much trouble getting hold of an SVEA outer cap if you are prepared to wait for one to come up somewhere but a Companion one should suit - even a Primus/Optimus one should do the job well. It looks like a Svea 5. I'm surprised it isn't marked on the tank. Base Camp should have outer caps with the Svea mark but as John says any standard size cap should work. Ray
