    Here is my new find, a 60´s Borde Burner. Unfortunately, the manual is missing.

    Where's the windshield/pan support? Or did this stove not come with a windshield/pan support?

    They're getting quite rare (and expensive) lately. Congratulations with your purchase, nice find!

    The windshield was sold separately, because the burner could be used with cooking sets like the SIGG one, or even with stones, as pan support.

    So this stove does not necessarily come with this windshield.

    Since we can't value stoves I don't know if that question can be answered. As I've never seen one for sale in NZ, I suspect you would have to pay a lot more than they are worth.

    Then let me re-phrase the question.

    What have these stoves been selling for in the last year?

    Still not a fair question per the spirit of the site not giving valuations.

    Here is what you can do:-

    Go to ebay and search "borde stove" or borde bomb or some other variations, then click the "completed items" option on the side. It will show you any Borde stoves that have sold recently (or not sold) and how much they netted.

    edit- Like this-
    Look fast, because it's an ebay link, it will change with time

    Now I know why I don't have one. I'll keep looking though till one turns up at a dollar.

    Lampie Pete Sav. sold one to another member here/CPL, just prior to Newark. I've no idea the price they agreed on but I'll dare bet it wasn't ~$300! =;

    It was advertised here and CPL as I recall - click here...

    Nice looking Borde! Guess it's not easy to get one these days. I guess it is made for petrol/gasoline, but what is the watt measured and does somebody have boiling time for 1 litre perhaps?
