But how got these (two!) cleaning needles jammed in the first place? Must have been somebody too hamfisted to be trusted with a 22 ... Better it were brought to a safe place a.s.a.p before things get even worse. I think I know of just such a place. It's right here in The Hague, that famous safe haven for brutalised 22's.
You can change the little rubber piece in the NRV. Not to much of a problem depending on which filler cap you have. The little pentagram wrench is a bugger to find but if you have the older type it is much easier. Jur, Nice try amigo! Never a fault to chap that is willing to give it a go!
Never in my life, have I witnessed such an onslaught of subliminal messages... It seems quite obvious, however that many members are willing to "assist" you, Don Tom in resurrecting the 22. Seriously though, I remember being a total dufuss in fixing stoves, but once you learn the basics, it becomes simpler. Many thanks to those who have assisted NC the novice in bringing his stoves into operation.
