Like Rik, I decided a while ago that I didn't need / couldn't justify more stoves, but you know what it's like - -
here's what I bought today...... with a Borde for scale .........

no writing on it, but on the gauge has SOLARon it, so I'm guessing it was made in Hong Kong.
It has a Svea burner, a chrome tank & the legs / hob etc are cast aluminium.

    A N D with the rest of this years B/S finds - - averaging less than ?8 each :D

Happy hunting - - they are still findable

Great stoves my man, great stuff

Problem I have is that for every 2 I get rid of, I end up buying another, so scaling down is a slow process.

Got shot of all my duplicate domestic stoves just keep one of each now (except for the No.5's). I am more of a Veteran stove collector these days, not so much "classic", not planned, just the way it seems to be going these days.

I try and keep away from boot sales these days, just cannot say no to a bargain, like the day I bought home 5000 zips, but that's another story

    Hey, Jules,

Man, I'm really tickled at your successes in the boot sale department!! What fine luck you've had! And, it's nice to see another who's had the kind of luck that I seem to have, in that regard. But, I know that you see things as I do: If you don't "look", you won't "find", and that IS the secret to finding the very best deals on the things we all love!! Again, great finds, and congrats on scoring them!! Neat photo of them all, clustered together like Brothers and Sisters! Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc Mark

    Hey, CWO Lance, and Guys,

Not to worry, Guys, CWO Lance is just jealous that I know more "adjatives" than does he!!! And, one of the reaons that Lance does not post more, is because he's a long-haul truck driver. Last time he made a haul over to Broke Back Mountain, he was invited into the tent "for a stiff one", and he's never been the same after that!!!  He was heard to mutter, sometime later, "Hell, Boy! It's no wonder you didn't like being with her! Ya' picked the ugliest danged sheep in my whole truck!!! Now, let ME fix you up with the sweetest little lamb ya' ever met"!!!!! "Come to Daaaaaaddy, Sweetheart"!!!!    ;) ;)  [-X [-X [-X [-X

By the way, Lance, the foot is doing well, and though still a bit sore, now and then, is well on it's way to full recovery. Thanks, for asking!! Take care, and God Bless!!

    Every Good Wish,
Doc Mark (Sheepless in Seattle.....with NO plans to change the status quo!!!) ;)

Hey, Rik, Iain, Trevor, and All,

Sorry to be such a "posting slacker", lately!! We've been busy this Summer, with work. But, I promise to pick up the pace, as soon as I can, and to make up for lost time!! ;) By the way, I encourage Brother Spudz, who's posts I very much enjoy, to keep up the good work!! Like many of the rest of you, Spudz can turn a nice phrase, and it's a pleasure to read whatever he writes! I hope that he not only catches up with my post numbers, but far surpasses them!! Same for the rest of you Lot!! (Man, how I love this forum!!!) :D 8) Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc Mark

Doc, Doc, Doc; i did not pass over that mountain. Didn't even come close to it. That said, i did pass over the BIg Horn Mountains in northeast Wyoming a year or two back and got to see every kind of wild life in the state. Fox, Antalope, Moose, Elk, Deer, Big Horn Sheep, all the little critters, and an older looking cowboy ( looked a bit like yourself) who sware he was just helping that wooly bugger over the fence. He mentioned having a stump trained cow back home though.

Humm another phrase you can't use out on the range now that Movie is out. Giddy-up
