McCaul

    Found this unusual twin burner with roarer burners on it ,On the side is stamped McCaul
    Underneath that is British Made and the transfer on other side red border with a blue ocean and a yellow rising sun and in the red border it reads on one edge British and around on the other edges Quality Reliability the other edge is blank.
    Standard pump and release screw and filler cap looks to have pressure relief set up spring and pip blows off when pressure is to high .
    Here is a photo of it running .
    Any information on it please .

    Looks like Monitor to me - one of the 'Birmingham Bunch' anyway.

    The Monitor two-burner like this was the No. 62, although that had a circular heat shield below the burners - possibly missing on yours or never there on the McCaul version...

    Hello David .
    Thanks for that info, yes I do have that heat shield somewhere, nothing written on the burners either just noticed on the fill cap has written on it fill three quarters only.
