Hello guys, I'd like to share some pics of a C.A.D.A.M. Number 96 which is an Argentinian clone of a Primus 96. I have no reference of the maker or the year which was made. Hope you enjoy
Looks a nice clone - always like the look of the chrome or nickel plated stoves. Never heard of that maker. Are you in the Capital Federal area of Buenos Aires? I was there myself about 3 years ago and loved it. Norm
Stoves in a tin box are my favorite too, although, I would take an Optimus No. 9 in cardboard! You have a nice stove there! Looks like there's been many countries that cloned the 96 all over Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America. Looks great. We need a 96 clone out of Southeast Idaho! sam
It is so good to see yet another stove I have not seen before and it is in such good condition. Do you know what 'C.A.D.A.M.' stands for?
Hi Pablo. As I've seen... you was who beat me in the bid for that stove in mercadolibre. There are no respect with cheap bidders in this world... even in Argentina. Hope you don't find kerosene to fire that beauty 96 clone . Never seen that brand. But is pretty complete. The only thing close to than is the Aymaro 96. Nickel plated and made in Argentina. I don't know the reason, but the flame spreaders never are cast iron made in those domestic clones. Nice to find a stovie neighbourg. Hope to keep in contact. Un abrazo... Regards. @snwcmpr @kerry460 @Tony Press @Matukat thank you very much!! @Normo yes! My father (who owns and colects stoves) are both from Buenos Aires (Capital Federal). Thank you, we do have a nice city!! We are both "porteños" @idahostoveguy yes it has a lot of clones, but we dont know why they choosed that model in particular to clone!! This argentinian clone is very wall made and its very rugged @shagratork My father doesnt know what does C.A.D.A.M. mean, nor the year it was made. But he is still trying to find out!! If he gets a hold on another stove (and if it is in a good shape) he will take some pics and upload them @Celsius233 My father says jajaja (hahaha) and he says that he is sorry about that. He also wants to tell you that he has a lot of kerosene in his house, so no chance at all of running out jejeje. But he says that having a friendship spirit in mind, he is willing to cut the stove in half so both can share!! (no chance at all). Un abrazo amigo mio!! Ojala un dia nos crucemos!
