    It actually sounds like a C17 heading down the runway.

    Hi Tony,

    I also have my Sievert 290 now
    Taken it apart completly to remove rust and dirt and needle jet was clogged, orifices full of crap etc.
    I’ll start rebuilding soon.

    I was quite disappointed at first as I saw the tank is steel and not copper as yours, but now I realise you just painted the tank in gold but I assume it is steel as well, right?

    Anyways, I’ll post pictures before and after rebuild.

    Yes, my tank is steel. That’s one reason to run it on kerosene.

    Give the tank a very good flushing to get rid is rust and grit.
