Gem Blue Flame

    A neighbor found this in the rubble after his garage roof collapsed. The garage was built in the early teens. He was going to make a planter out of it! When I offered to restore it for him, he gave to me and said it looked too neat to modify if it could be made to work. But he did say I had to show him when it is done. He has the bottle, just needs to find it.

    Glad that thanks to you and your neighbour's good sense and generosity it's got more years in prospect as a stove rather than rusting away as a planter, Ralph.

    I hope the fuel bottle will surface and in due course we'll see this 'Gem' of a wick stove in action.

    We have had two or three stoves from the American Stove Company posted in the Stove Gallery.
    But I think this is the first of a three-burner stove.
    Thanks for posting such a wonderful stove.

    After taking a longer look, I found all 3 valves are stuck. I think this one's gonna take a while.
