1920s Svea 25, the first incarnation of Svea's parabolic reflector heater stove. The '25' and it's big sister the '26' differed from the later '35' and '36' primarily in having an external NRV pump arrangement. The tanks were otherwise essentially the same size and shape, very much shared too with the 101, 105/6 etc., as can be seen in this shot of '25' with reflector beside a bare '35': There are, however, other detail differences. The '25' filler cap incorporated a pressure release safety valve, seen here on left with '35' filler for comparison on right: The '25' also had a larger bore pressure pump than the later '35': The '25' riser tube base hex was also for a larger spanner size than the '35': On the other hand the '25's shared the same mid-1920s font style with the first, 1930s, '35's: And the 1930s '35's also shared the same old style 'Sievert' starburst logo and auto-lighter silent burner with the '25': The heat output of the '25' even with it's plain brass, rather than later nickeled or chrome reflector, is very impressive. It had to be turned down significantly to get in close enough for these final few shots:
Wow those are gorgeous I Hope I get to be as lucky as you one day I would love to find one like that. Great pictures. Thanks.
I've noticed some aftermarket domes on fleabay that are designed to set on top of the trivet. I'm curious as to how well they would work.
111T asks about the type of heater domes that sit on the pan ring - I don't see why they could not be made to work effectively - after all Burmos did something very similar in the '50s shown in these 2 thumbnails: You will notice that this Burmos version, which could be used with or without a directional reflector, clipped directly onto the leg tops. I'm sure the bare domes currently on offer could be rigged up like this or otherwise wired onto a pan ring - that would get round the only problem I could see with using a bare dome simply sat on a pan ring, namely that it could easily get dislodged - and I really wouldn't want to deal with a red hot dome suddenly rolling around loose anywhere! Meanwhile here's an extra shot of the '25':
