Hi All, I just acquired a Soto STG-10 stove. This stove is compact and powerful. Specs are: Size 153×195×77mm Weight 380g Calorific value 2.1kw (1,800kcal/h) Operating time 2.1h This stove is pretty easy to put together. The directions are in Japanese but fortunately there is pictorial instructions to follow. The stove cools down pretty quick. Once back in it's case it can be placed in your pants pocket or any where in your day pack or backpack or you can keep this in your car for emergencies. I decided to make some coffee with this stove and used my 8 cup stainless steel percolator coffee pot. The stove is designed for smaller pots, but I figured it would work out great and it did. When it started to percolate I turned the flame down to a simmer and let it percolate. This stove is well made and very easy to use. As can be seen in the pictures the stove is made to run on the vapor side of the fuel canister. I did try a fuel canister that was almost empty and the flame is the same so whether the fuel canister is full or nearly empty you will have very good flame performance from this stove Just thought someone out there would like to see this stove up and running. By the way the coffee was great, and I know some would probably think the coffee looks like swill but it was very good. Cheers, Norman

I know this is an older post but will add that I too have a later version of this stove the S-320 G Stove and have to agree that it is excellent. And you can run the stove right down to the last drop in your canister as the OP stated. Very quiet, great for car cooking. You can fabricate a mini windshield for the rear area by cutting a small triangle of aluminum (aluminium). In my opinion it could do with a tad more punch but a very handy stove for when you just want to heat / cook and get on with other things. You can actually use the stove without the stand if you want to and then suspend your pot over the burner head - makes a very lightweight hiking stove in this case.
