Greetings, All, Today, my Mom-in-law and I got to visit. "That same old swap meet" which has produced, quite literally, HUNDREDS of stoves over the last 30+ years!! Today, it once again yielded yet another stove!! Today's great find was a very nice Phoebus 725, in its original tin, with its small bag of spares!! I got it for a rock bottom price, and when giving it the once-over, found all seals in perfect condition and everything functioned perfectly!! Using a new 1ml syringe to prime the stove, with fuel already had in it, and very soon this little Brute was roaring like brand new!!!! Great find Doc. I like my Phoebus 625, I just wish there were a source for kero jets for it again. Someone was making them a few years ago but quit and hasn't done so again, or so I fear. They came with them originally but sadly they were thrown away most of the time I was told. Stan
Hi Magikbus, have a look at these two posts. It is suggested that Optimus 111 jets should fit the Phoebus 625. Might keep this one, or sell it, as I have several 725's already. Can't decide, just yet. Glad to have found it, though, and it was great fun seeing that it runs quite well, even on old Coleman Fuel.
