What a great little cookset! I'm a happy camper! I can see this becoming my regular user for solo or two person outings. The previous owner did kind of a hack job on the pot itself when he sloppily tried to engrave measurement markings on the side. I'm hoping (but not holding my breath) that i might find a replacement pot, but for now I'll use it.
Update! Update! The sloppy engraving was really shallow so a little elbow grease with some fine sandpaper grits took care of it. Now I'm REALLY a happy camper!
thanks for the photos . same as the one i found , except mine is well used and has a 123R in it . cheers kerry
Hey, Lonnie, Congrats on your cookset, and thanks for the photos of your score and the stove that lives in it!! Those little kits are very nice, indeed, and, as you mentioned, they can be a tad fragile, too, and bend easily. You can just reshape them, and keep on using them as intended!! Take care, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
Hi, Doc! I guarantee that this little kit will get the most use of any. It's a perfect size and light weight. Action shots are definitely forthcoming!
That's sweeeeeeet!! I'd trade a SIGG KIT for one of those. (But, I suppose I would have to add to the trade, huh?) Ken in NC
Hahaha, I already have a Sigg Tourist kit, Ken, but I actually wonder if it will see much action since I picked this up.
I use a little kit like that for most of my backpacking. The Tourist set is nice sometimes cause I can fit lots of odds and ends in all that empty space. So many stoves, cooksets, and so little time..
