Base Camp E-mail Problems

    I have been trying to send an e-mail to Base Camp for the past several days and keep getting an “undeliverable” back with the following error:

    Sorry, we were unable to deliver your message to the following address.
    :
    Remote host said:
    553 Domain base-camp.co.uk does not accept mail from “xxxxx”@att.net
    [RCPT_TO]


    (I substituted real letters in my address with the “x”s)
    I also had problems about a month ago when I wanted to order something and ended up calling them instead. The person I talked to then said they had been having e-mail problems but they should be back up. Does anyone know if they are still having e-mail problems? Does Mike the Stove come around here often? Will he get a PT?

    Looks like a simple block possibly due to spam from att.net addresses in past. A PT may get through.

    Sometimes simple can be enough to cause headaches. If that's it, just my luck. I guess I'll give a PT a shot.

    I've had the same problem with XXXX@verizon.net. If they're blocking email accounts by the Ton, as it were, they probably are losing a lot of business.

    There's a notice on the webpage saying due to a family bereavement service will be limited for a short time.

    I'v tried many times and all failed.
    please someone explain to me why this(Base camp) is so hard to contact. I'm living in Boston,ma.

    I've read that but this happened a couple of months ago and I've tried a different way too. I've gave up. for some reason this web site is not easy to navigate. Thank you very much for your responds. Joe.

    I've had similar problems contacting them in the distant past - in fact, I've never succeeded and also given up trying now. I think the nearest I ever got was to have to print out the order form, complete it by hand and then send it off by snail mail with cheque enclosed.
