Here is my 9065D that I just finished up. It came to me needing some TLC and some fresh nitrile, but cleaned up well and runs like a top . A keeper for sure .
Dan, It's so awesome! I love the flames. The brass is beautiful. I can't believe what I'm seeing. A suitcase from Germany! Very fine indeed. sam
Hi dday what a stunner that is one fine example of a suitcase stove the graphics on the lid is superb as with the brass, and what a nice strong atmospheric blue flame on both burners enders sure made some great stoves
Evening Gentlemen, Thanks for the positive comments. I enjoyed working on this one and was really pleased when I fired it up. I have way too many suitcase style stoves now, but in the end the Enders will prevail as a keeper . Ron, regarding your question about size, I would say its a bit smaller than a 425 coleman suitcase. I have not measured it but it appears smaller. Dan
I know where one is. I've been trying to get them to sell it to me for quite a while. They don't know what it is, they just think it looks 'cool' Tim
Tim, You could suggest to these folks that their stove is a danger to the ozone layer and needs to be retired to a stove sanctuary due to its age and reletive "worthlessness" to the rest of society. "Nobody keeps these things around any longer." Besides there are plenty of other ready to light gassies on the market which offer all the benefits and safety of a non-liquid fuel stove.
Dan Enders also do a roarer burner of the suitcase stove, but much prefer the silent one though. Best Ian
Oh, I am so glad someone brought this beautiful stove bad up to the top of the forum. It is one I really really want. (But, I am not alone in that). Ken in NC
last week one was sold for over 500 euro. I regret of selling the two units I had at one time... Even if I sold them to close friends...
Ocassional they can go for a lot higher than that, and again a lot lower - buying or selling on Ebay, is just like a bookies, just chance. Picked this one up from the States in 2011, Link $60, not bad, and I got the silent burner version from here in the UK, only for a tad more.
Wow, I didn't know that Enders made a suitcase stove. Really a nice example you have there. Is the tank permanently attached to the outside of the case or can it be taken off and stored inside for transport?
