hi all i have acquired a nova style pump and a PRIMUS STOVE REGULATING BURNER off a optimus double burner stove from eblg i was wondering if you know of any one making brass nut/ adapter that i could modify so i could make my self a kap copy the pump i have seams to have a lindel valve type connector tread on the end what appears to be a quick connector. so i am missing a fuel line and a way to connect it to the burner any ideas? i do have access to a old lathe and can turn and braise but i will need to find a tap to do the internal threading.(what size thread would it be?) many thanks wedgie
Here is my attempt, https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/18451 And here is a cool adaptor that Gary from Blue Water Stoves made me, it might give you come inspiration https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/20563
Is your Nova pump "older versio" with CEJN quick connector and "new version" with Optimus own quick connector? For later you could use Optimus Nova spare part hose and self made adapter to attach hose to the burner. If you pump has CEJN connector you can buy CEJN connectors from hydraulic parts shop. Then you would need to make hose with that CEJN connector and adapter to attach that onto burner. I have thread tools for burner, CEJN-connectors and Optimus Nova hose so I can help with the project if you need some parts.
Forgot to mention that taps for burner thread are custom made so you need to make burner thread with lathe (or order a custom made tap).
i have a correction i have the Primus Multifuel pump with a Lindal valve connector the middle pump in the first picture https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/22603
For Primus Omnifuel pump hose adapter can be made. Only challenge is to make something on the middle to push open the valve in pump connector. Lindal valve connector has 7/16" UNEF thread.
