svea with no5 burner

    hi all my dad has give me my granddads paraffin stove after priming it will not burn through the jet holes in the silent burner and after a about 5 min it drops into under burn any ideas what to check first

    cheers for the advice and link i pricked the jet and removed the rust from the inside of the cap and just had my first coffee from a stove that has not been fired since about 1974 it is running lovely
    unfortunately it has been well polished in the past so very little in the way of markings have survived and it is rather dull and tarnished
