G'day, Picked this stove up as one of those dodgy buys on ebay. A bad picture and no detail. But the stove was less than the postage. Anyway when I got it, there was a 10mm crack in the tank and the burner had a hole in it plugged with putty. The good thing all the stove parts were there including the tank cap and the two burner caps marked Companion {The heater components are missing. Here is what it looked like when received. As the stove is nickel plated I needed something to match but didn't want something that looked like a patch. So I went and got a silver plated brass souvenir spoon from a local opportunity shop. Cut the end off and shaped it to fit. To fix the crack I drilled each end with a 1mm drill to stop it going any further before soldering the spoon in place. And here is how it turned out. But if you look at this photo you will notice the leg on the right is different from the one on the left (a previous owner) And the flame shot. With the bogged up burner (Will fix it properly later) Martin

Any chance please of a photo of the logo on the fount top. it is only just visible in one shot. also what is the wording on each side of the filler top (probably only has text on one side) and the text from both sides of the pressure relief screw. thank-you.
G'day lain, The filler cap has COMPANION stamped into the wing on one side only. The pressure relief has COMPANION cast in raised letters on both sides. Martin
Thanks Robbo55, this will help with a little project trying to separate out a few Companion stoves etc. I will post further information about this when I can.
