Looks very much like a Campingaz product to me, maybe specially made for the US? (after all, they are owned by Coleman nowadays).
    Just my guess!

    Best regards,

Ive run into Yanes before . They were not 40 years old though. The ones Ive seen were Brazilian knock offs of Gaz stoves.
Could be an interesting mod to fit the propane bottle

It looks to me like one of hundreds of brands adapted to the US standard 14 or 16.4 oz. disposable propane canisters.

I have a Yanes branded stove adapted to the piercing butane canisters made globally famous by Camping Gaz. It works as well as the Hellas Gas, Plein Aire, Grizzly, Primus, and Bleuet stoves I have that also use the piercing canister.

I've got several more stoves and lanterns adapted to the same canister. There must be hundreds of those as well.

If I ever encounter a Yanes like yours, I'll absorb it into my Borg. I've got a bit of a soft spot for most of the gas canister appliances. The screw attatch Isobutane canister appliances have my affections to a degree also, especially the current batch of Chinese and Indian ones. Most are cute and practical lil' dudes. I found a nice cheap little Chinese one that mimics the MSR Whisperlite. It also works just fine and is frugal with fuel. Less than $10 shipped from the PRC.
