Does anyone know where I can get an Original Svea 123 pot handle? Id like to keep the thing as complete as possible and thats the only thing I am missing Thanks In Advance
And, they do come up often enough to say 'often'. There are quite a few 123s that are sold without the handles, too.
Thanks for the help and encouragement to be patient....LOL now if that word were in my vocabulary we'd be all good...
Hi, HT Scheg, Welcome to CCS! Snwcmpr is absolutely right: Patience IS the watch word for getting the original parts that you need!! Without it, you are doomed to a life of frustration and sadness!! Also, you might look around at every antique store, swap meet, yard sale, and flea market you can find. You never know WHAT good stuff you will find in such places!! I've waited for many years, sometimes, to finally get a specific stove, or part, and it's always been well worth the wait!! Others here have done the same thing, as original parts are getting harder and harder to find. So, be patient, and enjoy the stoves you have, and your handle will come to you, sooner, or later! Good luck, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc
And while you are waiting, you can go to a thrift store and buy a cheap aluminum flat cookie tray and cut a dozen of them out of the tray, bend them up keeping one for yourself and sell the rest on ebay. Stan btw just curious about the canadian flag and your location?
I am from Buffalo NY but I married a Newfie that lives in Ontario, Im usually there on weekends unless Im on the road (truck driver)
