My First Stove Restoration

    well here she is........my first stove restore. All that is left to do is the stencil, tag fill her and light her off!

    impressive work! these old American two burner suit case stoves deserve more attention as classics.

    Most people start with something simple and not quite so hard to acquire. Your stove is either a Coleman No. 1 or a early No. 2, both of which would be fantastic finds. I would have been afraid for my first fettle to be either of those model numbers. You done good acquiring the stove and getting it looking good. Now all we need is some blue flames!

    It's a #2. I also have a 2D and a late production #1, 9 and 9D. I'm going to light it later today!

    Pretty proud of my first fettle / resto / whatever lol. Also worked on a lamp today.
