My #2 is on the work bench right now and I'm still waiting for the stork to deliver my new #2D later this week!
I have a 9 and a 9D but I'm unsure of the dates for them. There isn't a clear date on the litature that came with the 9.
You may be able to find a date on the operating manual, usually, there's a date on the back, like the post card. No. 9's seem to be dated from late 1927 to 1929 or in that neighbourhood. Nice collection of black stoves. Those years from the late teens to early thirties are my favorites. sam
Hi Sm8213 There are different versions on the Coleman #9. The straps holding the fuel tank had different positions depending on the date of manufacture. There is a Coleman advert on eBay that shows your version of the #9 and it is dated 1927 here.
hi guys, there are several#9's, not sure what mine is According to the new ICCC book 9C in 1926 up to 9B 1937, but then none of the model # are in cronical? order.. I have a copy of original operating instructions for 2D&9D that has 1930 written on the top. Hope this helps a bit
