Wrongly claimed in another thread I got an email from Berniedawg that 40 penta wrenches are ready for shipment right now.
Contact Blue Water Stove Restoration if you wish to acquire a well made 5 sided allen type tool to take the SVEA 123, 8R, etc SRV apart, and set it, made by Berniedawg.
I am being brief here assuming you know what you need. Please post if you need to be informed of what this tool is.

I got one from Gary a few years ago, high quality, hardened steel I believe would be the term also.

Sorry about the misinformation. I made an assumption... everybody knows how that works. Sorry about that.

There's nothing on Gary's site that I can find that mentions them or the price.

I find it's easiest to just send Gary an email and ask if he has such things available. I would not (at this time) consider his website as being an online storefront.

Hazet is spot on. I e-mailed Gary when I wanted one. He put me on his list and a few months later got back to me when he ran his next batch. Nice tool and I didn't mind waiting but having available options is probably going to serve most people well.

I notice Gary has amended his description. Not sure what this is all about. I read one comment here that suggested the tool was expensive. I guess that's a subjective opinion, however the comment didn't suggest excess profit was being made. I'm surprised to see an ebay seller pressurised into making an amendment like this by a pogrom from those in the wider stovie community. How did our hobby get to this? Very sad.

It's a great response to offer the drawing to folk who think they can get it made cheaper!

Gary is spot on re security bits & also home-modified allen keys. The later need to be modified carefully to be effective & I would personally prefer a proper tool for long-term repeated use.

I bought a Bernie Dawg Penta wrench two or three years ago, and I have to say that it is of the finest quality. It will certainly last longer than me O:).

    Cheers
