    Rune,

In all likelyhood you will throw it aside when you are done. I have a couple of them and I find them to require to much tinkering for my need and there literally are a million little pieces to them. Good luck and let us know how it goes,

If you cant fix it or don't like it you can take the burner head off put on a 8r like i did mine screwed on if your thread is to big do like evil said put tin foil around thread it works here mine the only thing it needs to be prime twice then it fires up or i could use a pump the flame a little low at first till the tank gets hot then its good see picture it been burning for three min. when i took kettle off nice flame

They work alright. I don't think they are putting up good enough BTU#'s for the size and weight. The problem is all the stupid little levers and they tend to bind and then you have to take apart and hope you don't lose any of the little pieces. Like Oops, my enders burner is now on my 8R and I love it.

The story with these Enders (German army) stoves has it that after their introduction for army use they were all quickly withdrawn from service, because of too many accidents caused by careless use by unwitting conscripts.

I suspect that besides that inferior quality had something to do with it as well. I have one from NOS, which has quickly developed a very mean crack in the tube from tank to burner head, so beware.

    Hi Runegutt

I am sorry to say, that I am not of the same opinion as ? Evil?

I have several of Enders - also some from Bundeswehr - and never had problems with them. BTU with "Renset Bensin" (Danish) is absolute OK - burns beautiful blue and powerful.

Get it apart - use your Ultrasonic Cleaner - and you will be very happy with your
    Enders 9061D.

If you want it, I can power one these up and make picture of it.

    Greetings from Denmark

Now, tonight I will flush the tank and fuel line with spirit (Not the holy..)
and maybee try a second jet I have.

For the silent 8R projekt, I have a Enders for spare parts. The pump is not possible to get out of the tank. I think someone has mounted it with a sledge hammer.

    Two other silentprojekts:

Good luck on the last two projects Rune! If you find success you are hereby remanded to tell all of us how you did it.

    Salar,

You have the civilian version there with the brass tank, they are a little better stove than the military ones. Nice blue flame by the way too. Rune, your stove will probably never burn that blue. I have just found that I get about the same heat out of my far lighter 8R and the only draw back is smaller pan size. I like the design and the case it is just all the little levers and such. Have you ever completely disassembled the levers and burner piece? Those little steel keys are a bugger and I am always afraid the levers are going to break.

I have 3 of the 9063's. I really like them. Most of the time I use them without their original tin case. They aren't very good as the paint fly's off and then the rust sets in but the stoves are wonderful.

    I made a boiling test:

I got a boiling whistle from the kettle in 4,40 minutes.
    Water 10 - air 16
    Amount 1 litre

    Bad - I don?t think so.

    Salar and Stove

PS. Yes ? there are many tiny parts when you take them apart ? special the keys ? not for persons with ?to big? fingers!
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Today I made boling test on some of my other stoves - same kettle, amount of water, temperature etc. etc.:

    Optimus 111 (Roarer) 3,45 minutes, Optimus 8 (not 8R) 8,00 minutes,Phoebus 625 (kerosene) 4,10 minutes, Juwel 34 (old brass) 6,00 minutes ( sounds as WW2 V1 Rocket)

All burners are cleaned with Ultrasonic Cleaner and these who has a wick has got got a new one.
