Hi all, Some time ago I found this stove. It was hidden in an other Verkade box (cookies). After buying it I noticed a possible original box inside the Verkade box. It has the original manual, pricker and tools. I am not sure if the funnel is original, this came with it. Before trading it, I wanted to put this in the reference gallery as reference. I just made photo's of everything. It could be of some use some day. If the weather gets better (currently a small storm), I will post some flame shots. Did my best on polishing and cleaning the stove. I am surely not the best polisher of this site. It had some hard spots. Of course it is not bad to see that the stove has been used. I had two sets, but gave away one as a birthday gift. Enjoy, Jacob The whole set. The whole set separated. Burner. Engraved with VULKANO ALLEMANIA Original Box. Original Price tag was 15.95 gulden. (Formal Dutch currency, now about 7 euro's). Top of the box. The color of the box is pink, hard to see on the photo. Manual side 1. English, French. Side 2. Spanish (?) and German Stove in working condition. Engraving side 1. Engraving side 2. Engraving side 3. Pan ring. No markings at all. Standard pump assembly. Stove leggs. Prickers (unmarked) and their bag. (Same color as box.) Original tool. No markings. Funnel. Not sure of its originality. The box it came in. Box in a box. Flame ring. Filler cap.

I just picked up a little miniature blow torch with the same name on it. Vulcano Alemania. I would rather have your stove.
Interesting illustration on the original box. The stoves glamour is highlighted and underlined by its shadow on the right side. The transport lid, which can be parked on the pump knob, seems to be a newer version. Is there any hint on the paper/printwork for dating the stove? Best Regards Radler
@Radler I can not find anything on the box or manual. I guess it is a very late stove since the original price is very low for a brand new stove. Maybe 1980's or even after the wall had fallen? It does not say anything like east or west Germany. This could indicate that. The 'Verkade' box it came in is said to be 1920's, the stove fore sure is not It is still to windy to light it.
Hello, As I just did on my reaction according the Phoebus 100 I hereby continue this topic about Vulcano Alemania I bought a similar one last week. Pretty much the same as the one in the topic start, also with the right inscription in the burner. But again, an odd pump knob, why the thread on the pump knob? I know I have seen such a knob before, but I cannot remember. I do not think it belongs on this stove. Regards, Ton.
