    Hi all.
I bought TURM SPORT from eBay past time.
But my TURM SPORT is missing its end of generator pipe nut.
So I want to repair this. Please let me know some advice.

Is it possible to obtain a replacement nut and, if so, where from?

Here you go:) Do what I did. Works a charm. I use mine daily and love it, 20160214_100431.jpg not really concerned about originality.

Hello YOSH and welcome to the forum.

I am afraid, you will have almost no chance to find a original cap. These stoves have been produced for a relatively short time and are rare. The thread of the cap is one of the odd threads used for classic Swedish stoves.

If you could find a old PRIMUS spirit can (Part No. 1738 ), its lid would fit exactly. But maybe these cans have not all the same filler size, who knows.
The pictures show you the original TURM SPORT hexagon cap and a spirit can and its lid.

    Best Regards
    Radler

I measured the thread from Primus 1738 spirit can: Outer diameter is 10.7mm and pitch 24 tpi. I would think if you find or make the cap with M11x1 thread it will work (even if is not perfect match). That M11x1 thread is also not so common but tools for it are available...

    Thanks all,

I ordered M11X1 thread Tap and hexagon brass bar. I'll try to make the cap.
I will be reported here if the attempt was successful.

    Sorry for my bad English.

After all,I got M11x1 thread Tap,hexagon brass bar and seal tape. Then cut the bar, drilled the piece, made a thread...

The resulting end cap was so so...(^^;)
    But it's no leak.

    Thanks all for suggestions.

    Hello YOSH
I like to see another TURM SPORT safed. They are worth it, to be kept usable. And I like the way how the solution was found in this forum and the result!
Gratulation YOSH and happy hours with the stove.

    Best Regards
