Some folk are contacting me to tell me their subscription is no longer valid here on CCS4.
All live subscriptions, a handful, where transfered across but I understand why folk may think this.

Subscription renewals were cancelled on August 10 2014. This wasn't a cancellation of live subscriptions - just the renewal. Any current subscriptions & the benefits at that time remained in force for the remainder of their term.

On the old platform, as here, avatars & signatures were a subscriber feature. The old platform continued to show those after a subscription expired. Also, once the subscription renewal was cancelled it stopped any call-back to the site from Paypal on expirations so the small subscribers subscriber.gif emblem remained in place even after the subscription had expired. Access also was not downgraded so all subscribers who's subscriptions expired after 10 August 2014 retained their priviledges right up to the end in June 2015.

On migration to CCSv4 all expired subscribers were reverted to regular membership

On CCSv4 the few remaining live subscriptions have been manually upgraded & at the end of their subscription period they will revert to regular membership. Avatars & signatures will no longer be visible (they aren't deleted). Those members can then resubscribe if they wish & annual renewals will continue as before unless they choose to cancel.

All subsription records from CCSv3 are archived. It is also possible to check payments made via your Paypal dashboard. On CCSv3 those subscription were paid to ccs@spiritburner.com. On CCSv4 they are paid to subscribe@classiccampstoves.com

If anyone has any queries please send a message & I'll be more than happy to investigate & provide the information required.

I think I understand your message. I was away from the forum/ site for a number of months. I began to dawn on me that something was not quite right when I couldn't get into the classifieds and didn't see any access to the membership list of the old site.

If you need some subscription / dues from me, let me know and I'll arrange payment and be up-to-date. Thanks.

    Paul

    Hi Jim,
    Thanks for your support!
It could of course be a paypal issue. If you could email me a screenshot of the point of failure I may be able to ascertain.

What internet browser are you using? @Jim Ashton
Most of them you can find your saved passwords with a bit of clicking on the right things.

Your right, Tony, I am beingged in automatically but I need to be able to change my password and I cant do that. When I try, it tells me that my old password is required to be able to change it and I do not have it. What next?

    Jim.

Hi Jim - please check your email. I have sent you a temp password. For this issue normally I'd recommend logging out & doing the 'forgotten password' thing. As long as your email is correct you'll then get an email from which you just follow the prompts.

    Hello Ross,

I noticed that I don't have access to posting in classifieds, wondering if you can fix this. My subscription is paid up, so much just be a glitch.

    Thanks, Byron
