Looks like an enjoyable meeting! Our Scout camp near Guilford was a rather wet and muddy affair!

Hmm! I wonder what the Scout sites will be like around Newark next year

Nah, I was just meaning it was 'Ray and David's display'. :p

You brought the nice Imber Research bowlfire and the Mark I Bialaddin version as well as a few other things (such as the toothbrush and Sweetex wrapper! ;))

The two Coleman 427K 'Mounties' brought no interest as far as I could see - d'oh!

 What! - you got an absolutely immaculate and rare Imber Research bowlfire for just £20! You didn't tell me that. Not to mention that ultra-early Mk.I Bialaddin bowlfire (you know, the one you're going to let me have, one day ;)). You jammy bas...

The SL Hospital and Survey lamp was yours, as was the scarce chrome-topped (2/72) X246B courtesy of the electricity shortages due to the miners' strike. And a nice '60s FL6...

After some fettling, my only purchase burning fine (may need some more adjustment to the air gap.
Sound like a right lampie don't I, but as you know. lamps are just so you can see to use your stove.

    Hi Ted.

A good variety of photos showing some of the displays of members of CCS and CPL.

Here are some photos of part of the social side of Newark 2016 - the Fettlers Arms pub.

@Rangie it would be great to see you at Newark next year.
The same applies to anyone else.
I do know that some members are hesitant about going to Newark because they are nervous about their collection of lamps and/or stoves, but it is so informal that people who attend for the first time usually come back again and again.
I know a number of people who did not possess even one stove or lantern turn up but they left with 'freebies' from the generous members.
Anyone and everyone is made welcome.
