Hi all, Well...a bit out of topic maybe, but I did make a request here earlier for the burner of this radiator and for an ID of the maker. With a bit of luck I made the ID myself when receiving a French lamp, which obviously was made by the same maker. This radiator and burner is made of Louis Bouyssou (L.B.) and is both inventor and manufacturer of mostly stoves with the brand name of "Ekinox". The intersting patents made of Louis Bouyssou, are all stove related. The burner was missing the top part of the outer cap, the lower part with slots is integrated in the burner head. Dean Williams from US made me a customized cap from metal spinning and with some adjustments it fitted nicely. Sorry for the bad images of it burning; it was a bit to bright for a nice flame shot. /Conny
Hi Conny, What a nice radiator: one more to your collection! The inscription "LB, SGDG" Is readable on the pump button, as on my Ekinox stove?
Thanks guys! Hi Serge (Dupont?), welcome and nice to see you in this forum. Going English now, are you ! Yes the L B mark is on this pump also and on the manometer scale as well. However there are no"Ekinox" marking on the manometer, as I can see on my lamp, and also on Ekinox stoves images. So with stoves, radiators and lamps in their production line, we ought to upgrade this company as a more important one, once we now know of more of the products they made. Paperwork is essential to know more, and there are none so far for the radiator and lamp. However I know Ultimheat is launching a couple of papers for this company soon. I hope it will contain valuable information. /Conny
Conny yes it's me !! I assure you, I still do not speak English, but I have a good translator! In fact, I enrolled here because you can see beautiful objects, and also because I am looking for information on an enameled stove that I just found (IDEAL 12, I opened a topic recently) and whose burners really unusual I found nothing on ultimheat Serge
Hello again Serge, maybe now I can stop trying French when we exchange e-mails. The translator you use is very good. Yes I saw your Ideal 12 stove and I also made a search on Ultimheat, but could not find any information. Much information on "Ideal" though as this name (brand) is very common, also used in Sweden for a very special type of stove burner. /Conny
