Nice find! That's a lot of trust in a couple of 1 inch straps. But what choice did you have? You'd have doubled the local post office's annual turnover if you'd trusted your precious cargo to their clumsy hands. Regards John
Thank you adelcoro for this glimpse at a rare stove... ok, stoves but it is your Canadian Coleman No.975 that captures my interest at the moment. Terry Marsh features a table top range, a restored 975 . >>>edit strike that: At some point in future I will like to know... Is there, within your example, a complete table top version? Then addl parts are added (legs, bottom shelf and fold-down cover)? ...would mean 2 sets of legs, the short legs still in-place hidden behind the tall legs.. edit add you posted another image and close look shows this is NOT tall legs "added" to a table top stove. <<< Close look also reveals a bummer if name plate might be gone. Marsh's post WW2 No.975 says it is "Type B". There is mention of a 975a on CCS, myself, I've no idea what might be the difference betwixt the 2. thx again omc
