Site won't open / server not responding

For about the last week I haven't been able to access the site as quickly as usual. The progress bar sticks at about 10%. Often I get timed out. I'm on an I-pad for what it's worth.

No problem at all over here (old Apple Mac)

 

OK up here, Windows PC and Chrome Android.

There's no problem once I get access but it's just erratic when I first try to get in. Thought I'd ask because this is the only site that I use regularly that I'm seeing this with.
I am due to upgrade the IOS so I'll do that sometime just don't like the consequences every time I do it... Music going missing and having to be tracked down and reloaded because someone thinks they have the right to over-write what stuff that I already have or use up every scrap of memory that I have. I've missed countless photos on my phone because one of Steve's Jobsworths has force fed yet another update on it without asking.

I just now have access after 3.5+ hour outage.
I just now hit recent posts, judging by a 12:08PM UK time most recent post (3 hrs ago?):
i'm "guessing" the same outage was experienced by all CCS (CPL?) members?
anyway 8AM CST US (or earlier) I was not able to access site, no access for 3.5+ hrs til now.

No access possible here in UK this afternoon. Seems to have been happening fairly frequently recently, but usually only for relatively short time periods.

No access in Norway this afternoon either.
Traceroute showed no problems though...

 

If traceroute showed no problems that's my theory gone. Europe changed the clocks at the weekend, the US does not follow for a week. I tries at 12:30 GMT which would correspond with the same kind of US time as has been causing issues all summer.

Could not access site at about 14:00 today, report from BT advised site was on line but could not be accessed.

Same problem but later than my usual 8 am Eastern US time. Like 11 or so. I gave up and came back later.

 

Had some problems loging in this afternoon, kept timing out.

Apologies. It's been fixed for a few hours now but I haven't been told what the problem was yet.
