That recent post by Doug prompted me to take out and photograph the other Primus 210 SP kit I own. I reckon the 9,20 sek price tag (= 1 dollar in today's money) is the price of what it would have cost new.

The 'Sport' models must be the most attractive and desirable of the tin versions.
Yours is in very good condition.
You will have to look out for a small meths bottle to complete the outfit.

If something is the right stove – this must be it. Both the stove itself and the Sport outfit. … and the details like the PRIMUS logo on the reserve cap …

I have a same period stove with 9.45 written on the tin, and I too think this is the price. A lot of money in the early Thirties, but luckily some had that money.

Thanks – this one made me smile.:D:D:D

    All the best, e

@Lighthouse that is a gorgeous stoves and I have to complement you on those photos especially the first one in the post. Well done very well done. Warm tonnes and just the right amount of contrast made the vintage brass really stand out. :)

.Many thanks gentlemen! I agree - the Sport outfit is on another level. This example hasn't been used much. Although I do like the British Compact Primus Outfits too :-k Weren't these the most expensive outfits out of all the sets available at the time?

@Viscara - Inspired by DougL, whose pictures I always admire :). You should check out some of his posts if you want to see more pictures like this.
