I came across a brand new unlit Optimus 00 at a outfitter store today. It is just the stove without tin, spanner, prickers etc. Stove looked complete. The only thing that I forgot to check for was the blanking plug.

I'm a little torn on this one. I can pick it up for about $105 US, but I would prefer a user stove with all the bits. If I buy it, it will be lit. I know that will break the hearts of some of the members! I can hope to find a more complete used stove but with shipping it would probably cost about the same for me.

Anyone interested in a gorgeous display stove in trade for a good shape more complete user stove?

Please help to save this stove from the clutches of a ruthless de-flowerer of stove!

    Sounds nice.

I just picked up THIS ONE on eprey this weekend so I think you can do better even with shipping - at least you could get one with all the bits. Had to be sure I could take part in the next stove photo weekend.

    Good Evening, Andy, and CB,

Sketch, OUTSTANDING find and buy on your wonderful 00!!!! Looks absolutely fantastic, and the price was great, as far as I'm concerned!!! Congrats! I think that, like many of us, you will fall in deep lust with your Optimus 00! Great stove, and once you get used to it, it will never let you down. Again, outstanding find and buy on an outstanding stove!!

CB, while you might as well go ahead and buy the 00 you've found, you should try to find another one, too, just do you won't feel so bad about lighting up the newer one!! ;) 8) As I wrote to Sketch, you'll love getting one, and using it, too! So, get the new one for a "show stove", and then get a cheaper one as a user! Even if you use them both, you'll be one happy chappy, me thinks! Later, Dudes! We'll be back home next week, and I'll talk to you then. Take care, and God Bless!

    Every Good Wish,
    Doc Mark

??? Here's the bidder list on that stove. I don't see runen123 anywhere:

    ajstudio
    spidsgatter
    skytwins2000
    spidsgatter
    stickers-lorenzi

Anyway, you don't have much to worry about from me. I don't buy THAT many stoves - trying to limit myself to 1 or 2 per month when the funds are available.

By the way, I'm also pretty darn good at that hobby. Never shot competitively though, so you're up on me there.
