    Hi Kev, nice to hear from you.
    I have not heard of any dates yet.
    I don't know if Ross has decided but I will try and contact him and put the question to him (unless he sees your post first).

    By the way, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and your family!

    Hi Wim

    I did sent a message to Ross but I was unsure if he had contacted Kev personally.
    I have heard of no official date yet.

    Newark will be 9-11 June this year. I'll put a proper post up soon.

    @Spiritburner

    I have been hoping to get to Newark fir many years but it always clashed with family holidays. Well now I am divorced, it doesn't!
    but I am disabled. I have a tent but need to know about facilities. electric for one. I need to 'plug myself in at night lol ( CPAP). Nothing is insurmountable but I need to know before hand. Could someone who knows the setup well pm me with details please? ( Distances to loos, mains hookup? terrain ( cant walk much so use scooter). It would be great to actually make it for once!

    Unfortunately we won't be able to make it either, clashes with Belper Steam again!

    I'll get some info sorted asap. There are no hookups by the rally field but the main site does have them. There is a gravel track once off the field to a fishermans toilet & then a bit further to the toilet/shower block by the reception. This year we'll likely be in the field directly above the dog walk area.

    No problem - 220m to the basic loos & 250m to the full facilities.

    Hope you can make it this year

    IIRC there's agate at the bottom corner of the small field and a gap in the hedge facilitating a shortcut ...

    Be good to see you again, Alan. It must be 10 yrs since you dropped in to see us at Triangle.
    .....

    You can see the short cut better if you look at it on Where's the Path
    There's a measuring tool on there too.
