Svea 123R 50 Cent Find

I found this unused Svea 123R stove from an estate sale. The windscreen
does have some damaged from storage. What a find, only 50 cents! The box
and instructions were beyond saving.

What kind of damage on the windscreen? Brass can be brought back from the dead pretty easily. Jerry

Hello, thanks for the message. The brass windscreen is cracked (split) at the
bottom, were it goes on the tank. Someone jammed the pot handle between
the stove and windscreen and stored it that way. The stove was not damaged
but the screen split. I guess it can be a user screen, but a small piece of brass
sheet will have to be soldered on the inside and maybe a piece on the outside.

One can not have too many stoves. I am still looking for a super bargain on a 28b
or a 111t.

I've seen bargains, but never a better one than that!

 

I have but they normally have a nice secure holiday included
