Absolutely no manufacturer's markings, just the warning (in German) stamped on it to use only alcohol fuel. I've not come across this type of burner before. Wick is in good condition. Not visible are four radial holes in the inner tubular component and the heat from those jets, contained by the outer brass sleeve, maintains vapourisation. The fuel tank has an elegant shape to it. It's made of brass plated steel. I think that's to avoid the possible stress cracks that might have arisen if that shape were done in brass sheet. Well, as good a theory as any. Re-inserting the wick. Fuel in the tank, control valve opened to trickle some fuel into the priming pan. Priming. A test firing went well - pics to follow. A few shots of the stove frame. Sizeable, making a sturdy base for full pots, so a practical kitchen stove. Burner/tank assembly reinstalled in the frame. The burner is powerful and very controllable. Conducted heat softened the glue holding the control knob to the spindle (after all the years the stove has been around) but before I re-glued it - with epoxy adhesive - I took these pics to record the spindle cross-sectional shape that provides a key for the adhesive. I've been working through the catalogues in the Stove Reference Library but can't nail the manufacturer as yet. John

Looks very similar to a Norma Gustav Barthel make. Although it seems to be missing the Proudly made makers marks. Um bytheway your Kettle with the flue pass through tubes is amazing!! Ren
Hard to tell by the old catalogues but could it be Arara? I'm going by the shape of the control knob and general appearance. Of course many other brands look similar.
