I picked up 2 new in box Hank Roberts Stove/Lanterns this weekend along with a new Gaz Globetrotter with mess set. That makes 3 Hank Roberts and 2 Gaz units. I do have a few canisters for the Hank Roberts and 1 for the Gaz but would really like to get them converted to current fuels. Any recommendations as to who makes the conversions and/or where to buy them would be greatly appreciated. I am not interested in making my own as I am a damn good chemist and a piss poor craftsman.

Check out this thread: https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/hank-roberts-conversion-complete.1225/#post-2274 If I can get the thread pitch of the "needle" holder on the stove, I've a lathe here, and I'd wager I can do something here with what I've got. Feel free to PM me! Murph
for the globetrotter: https://classiccampstoves.com/threa...eeded-again-problem-solved.35119/#post-361490 looks very simple and straightforward, but if you are not so inclined, the person who posted this also sells the same thing on the bay for $65.
Well, my old pictures have the PB Bug. But I bought one of those cheapy china backpacking stove that take modern lindal valve canisters, but the hose off, and slid it over the needle on the Hank Roberts. Done deal, flame on!
Since edit time here is painfully short, i need to say that the valves are $50 (plus shipping) on ebay, not $65.
Greetings, All, For those of you who don't mind a small amount of fettling, all of which do not require super deep skills, please check out this excellent thread on making a conversion of your Hank Roberts stove and lanterns. Posted by our own Chuck Wilkins, this link, which I think was created in conjunction with Chuck, and Ian M., will do the job, safely, efficiently, and easily! https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/hank-roberts-conversion-complete.1225/ Good luck, and God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc P.S. This works on all the Hank Roberts stoves, and most other of what I call "Yo-Yo" stoves, i.e. The Gerry stove, The Browning Stove, et.al..
