Won this a few days ago, received it in the mail today, really nice condition, no dents, dings although the bunsen seems out of line with the genny. New fuel cap washer, oiled the large pump cup, bb/nut rattled the fount as it seemed to have light rust or crud. Squinted carb cleaner in the fount as there was some oily film on the bbs when I removed them, rinsed with gas three times, hard to shake the fuel out, used a paper towel to soak up the balance. Really cool preheat burner in the center of the burner. Was not aware of that until a couple days ago. Fired right up after the preheat, flame improved after running a few minutes. Nickel needs to be shined up. Notice the extra knob for the preheater, was not aware of that either a few days ago. Looks like if it gets flooded, there is a drain on the bottom of the bunsen. Simmers very low per the last photo. Duane
This really has a strong kero smell when priming per the one photo with the yellow flame in the middle. Hate to tear into it to see if I can do anything. Needs a strong flame even to get the priming flame to go as it wants to blow out a match or lighter. Lit it last week as I'm going thru my stoves for their annual firing. Had to retighten a couple fittings, worked good the time before. Duane
@hikerduane Hi Duane, Your 344 is working great. Here are some pictures of mine and if you get up close you will see a very pretty blue flame hitting the generator plate. Your's is looking very good. Cheers, Norman
