    So, testing jets on my Heinz Geniol BUND stove. First is a 0,29mm, starts blue then more orange. Then a a 0,32mm jet. Same flame, first blue then orange. Preheat with alcohol, lit from above.

    What do I need to do, I would like it to be blue when it gets hot.

    @tretrop

    I run my Heinze Geniols on kerosene.

    I have found that the one that had been previously been run on diesel took a few uses before getting a strong blue flame.

    The other thing to check is that your nipple/jet/nozzle is tight.

    Let it run for a while and see how it goes.

    Cheers

    Tony

    I’d try pressurising it a bit more and what Tony and Ken said.

    Another factor may be ...
    Are you opening to full right away?
    Or, are you slowly letting the burner get up to temp as you turn it up to high?
