Gonna revive this thread. The red sets are very cool. I also like the black ones from Japan. Both seem like unobtanium.

They recently did an anniversary issue of the red kits.

The 90th anniversary sets did not have the red kettle, just the pans. I ultimately found a red kettle on ebay for my set though the shades of red are different. Trangia makes specialty runs for the Japanese market and they made more 90th anniversary stuff that what was generally available elsewhere.

Thanks guys! I suppose I better find a plain one for myself. Could be a beaten up one to match my favourite Trangia although I could soon mess up a new one!

I saw these on Amazon Japan last year and nearly bought one, but in a rare moment of self control I passed.

alan, thanks for adding content to rik's old thread. I was unaware 'til now and "limited edition" may disappear so a pic may be helpful down the road. Here we go:
    tragiaCup.jpg

Half pint mug 1 cup / 8 oz., ... mug?, a tea cup more like it?
Small to stow inside the small kettle of a 27, and then too small? Or if it doesn't stow in the kit, then what hmmm :-k.

FYI comparison: Svea 123 has 1 1/2 cup size (12 oz to the brim), a 10 oz serving and that's small.
    thx omc

I think they also made the small food boxes in red. I may be suffering from non-buyer's remorse.

    Hello Everyone,

    Greetings from South Africa!

I found your VERY JUICY site as am on a mission to buy a set of these beauties. ....Yes I know they are difficult to find these days, but I hope to meet a fellow that might just have just that one set he or she might be willing or reluctantly wouldn't mind 'passing' over to someone who will love and cherish the find for the rest of his life!.... That person is me.

So fellows, please help me find my missing link.

All help will be valuable and appreciated greatly.

Thanks for reading, God bless you all.

    Mr Dominic-Mary Ebigbo
