I would really like to learn more about the single burner stove that have a self contained box. Is there a list or other way for me to learn?
Hi, @Detroithiker , Well, to start with: Primus: 71, and 8R (really an Optimus). Optimus: 8R, 99, 199, 111,111B,111C, 111Hiker+ 10, 80. Radius: 42,43, 46, 28. There are more, me thinks, but that will give you a good start. Take care, & God Bless! Every Good Wish, Doc

Go here: https://classiccampstoves.com/categories/the-stove-reference-gallery.2/ and spend way too long looking through all the countries and manufacturers. I did that when I first got interested in older stoves. I made mental notes, and saw a lot of really cool stoves I never knew existed (and then, of course, really wanted to find/own, hence the disease called stove pox). There is a wealth of info in the gallery, and so much discussion there that never makes it to the general forum area, so it's also a really good place to do more 'detailed research' of stoves.
Any single burner box stove interests me, hell I'm toying with the idea of taking some extra coleman 425 stove parts and building my own.
I can't even guess, do the examples mentioned so far represent even half of them yet??? DH, I am +1 with Hazet. Review the gallery with your OP in mind, you'll be awhile. Glad to see the PT-1 above. Oh, here's a great post not in gallery a plethora of just the 8R like box stoves link credit itchy Ben, Please forget the Finnish Valmet. All, Pay no attention to that, it is of no interest to stovies . trust me ha thx omc
