I can't remember exactly, but about 14 years ago

 

Yes Kev, 2004, the year before the first Newark, I believe.
I think I spot Mick Em and the wonderful Paul.

 

I remember booking that, it was at the Folly Pie pub at Napton, the same place that the BSA owners club used to have their East Midlands camp. I think the pub is still there, but most of the site has been redeveloped for housing....there's a surprise.!!

 

Just seen this. Man, we look young.

 

@paul, nice to hear from you. Shall I put you on the pizza order list for Newark?

 

It would be great to meet there again.

Great photos!! So this was pre-Newark?? VERY cool, indeed!! Who, amongst our Merry Band of Stove Pyros, attended that event? Was this early event, the genesis for the first Newark event? I surely do wish I could make it over there for an event like this one, or Newark, or just to see as many of our Stovie Mates as possible!!
