Optimus Campingo No.2 date question

    Hi, I’m new on this forum so be kind! I’ve just found a Optimus Campingo and I would like to know how to date it.

    The more photos the better for dating: especially markings, the burners, pot rests etc.

    Ok, when dating any stove bring flowersand chocolate. :)

    If you subscribe here, you get access to the catalog section and that helps a lot with research about stoves.
    Any replies that you receive will be from that sort of research.

    After the Campingo came the Optimus 11 and 22. So, that would be the definitive end of the Campingo era.

    The first mention of your stove in our Stove Reference Library is in 1929. The last mention is 1939.

    Thanks for that. Nice to know it’s old. Bye the way we took a closer look at work and it has a brass pot stand too which I thought was odd. Even back in those days steel would have been better.
