Hi this is my very first time I've ever posted on CCS, so go easy on me ok lol. Anyway can anyone please help me identify the following stove? It was found in a local scrap yard and from what I can see has a "Hasag" style filler cap with a thumb-screw air release valve. Both inner and outer burner domes were missing unfortunately.
May well be early Aladdin (who were it seems selling rebranded Radius and later their own with identical parts) do the burners have small tabs to hold outer cap
@Kengal00 1. As @Graham P said, it may well be an Aladdin re-badged Radius. 2. I’ve not heard of Neko. Where was it made? It has a external NRV (which is interesting). 3. That cast iron trivet on the Neko looks like an Australian made Brandt Bros trivet. They were a Sydney company. Cheers Tony
Hi Tony, yes I think u r right about the trivet - it came with the stove and has about the same amount of age/patina so probably been with the stove for a while. Also the stove has "NEKO" stamped on one quadrant and "No 1 Patent Made in Sweden" on the other
Thanks Graham.P photos and your advertisement depicting the 2 burner Aladdin nails it in one. Mystery solved. Its been great having so many of you CCS members go out of your way to share your knowledge and help me its very heartening. Thanks
