Partial pictures loading up or not at all

Hello everyone.
Today I have had trouble viewing pictures from any members posts on this site but not in the stove reference gallery(they load up fine).
The pictures only partially load up(10% - sometimes 50% of the picture) and any of the following pictures, not at all.
When I click on the partial pictures to see if they load up enlarged; they load properly.
In my latest post about the JEWEL Stove, I have been directed to some links and I experience the same problem.

Anyone else having the same problem in New Zealand?

 

Here is an example screen shot. Notice the following pictures only come up as jpg links with no pictures at all.

I get this occasionally but as I'm always on a mobile device I put it down to coverage or at home the wifi strength, garage is far end of house from wifi and signal is weak unless near the door to house.

No problems here in the UK using an iMac.

 

Never on my phone.

 

Never happens with my PC. My flip phone is not involved.

 

Ive been getting the same plus blank pages if trying to retrive unread posts. Refreshing the page clears it. Ive just blamed firefox

 

No issues for me on Chrome here at home or at work, or on Opera on my phone.

Firefox here and the same problem... looking like a browser issue to me.

Hmmmm, the problem lies elsewhere then. It seems to be intermittent and depends on how many tabs are open so it could possibly a lack of system resources, especially as I mainly use my laptop which isn't exactly that good. Oh, and our internet has been pants recently - the eagles keep sitting on the satellite dishes and knocking them out of alignment! Never happens on my phone.

 

Eagles a bit of a nuisance in your area then Colin? I'd get worried if they started after your pasty and chips like the gulls do at resorts.

 

Ha ha, my eagle comment was only partly a joke. We live in the highlands with no BT or any other type of physical broadband so our internet is provided by a small non-profit organisation that uses the Marine Harvest (local fish farm company) satellite link. To get the signal from their company IT hub, it gets bounced over large distances from dish to dish, across lochs, over mountains and finally from house to house in a daisy chain set-up. I'm often amazed that it works at all but it does. Sometimes birds actually do sit on the antennae and knock them out of alignment - either that or the 110mph winds we get in the winter. When the rest of the country is complaining about storm 'Willy' our gales all band together to form one long winter storm that can last for weeks!

 

I tested our internet and all was running well then. Logged off then back on to CCS and changed browsers but no change. All other browsing on other sites on the web seemed to be ok so that is why I thought it might have something to do with CCS.

I gave it another go now and all seems back to normal and that is on Firefox , so all sorted.
