Hi all, i'm Gilles, a french guy from Gujan-Mestras, near Bordeaux. Today, i received an Hipolito N°0, the knurled end of the pump rod is missing. If anyone have this part, tell me. Thank's.
You know that knurled end is also the travel cap for the tank? Is it on the tank, or missing completely? Murph
Hi Murph, i know that and it's missing completely and also the flame spreader ( i find one on Ebay ). @kerophile, thank's for the picts and the link. I buy it in the hour
@Sellig33 If you have not yet found a travel cap, also called reserve cap, The Hipolito 0 uses the same size cap as Optimus and Radius. Base Camp and eBayer Juliands should have them. Svea reserve caps have the same size thread and will fit but have a different look than an original Hipolito. Edit: Looks like George already has linked you to Julian.
1 pint stoves generally do not come with a pan ring and the small Hipolito pan ring can hold a very small diameter ibrik or pot. It is very cool looking but it is thin pressed steel and can warp out of it's flat shape very easily. I would recommend putting your pots directly on the pot supports and only using the pan ring when necessary.
Hi @kerophile you're right. @Ray123 , I realized it just after taking the pictures. Completely twisted
