Trangia opens webshop, Swedes only at the moment, but it will be taking international orders from next year. https://shop.trangia.se/sv/ Tron
It says "At the moment we can only deliver within Sweden and will open upp worldwide next year - Welcome with your order!" on their Trangia English webpage
I'm really liking the design of that fuel bottle, making it especially easy to fill a stove without the need to carry a funnel.
Good to see this posted in a new, separate thread, rather than this info being buried at the end of this thread: https://classiccampstoves.com/threads/trangia-duossal-vs-hard-anodized.21194/page-3#post-407931 Can't wait to buy a few more 788205 , and maybe a 751506 or two , perhaps even a 506105 (just to be different). It is interesting to see Trangia making the worldwide buying direct option a possibility/reality. I know they've offered direct sales in Sweden for a while. Not sure if this will be "easier" for Trangia, or just add a whole new level of hassle due to shipping small orders to individual customers around the globe.
If you look closely in the Accessories and the Spare Parts listings you will find a lot of interesting Trangia things we don't find in stores in Sweden either! I just ordered the olive (with all-black lid!) fuel bottles - just to be different in my local gang… I wonder which Defence Force mandated to have it that way? The Finns maybe - they ordered some 3000 DuoSSAL kits a few years ago - and got it - despite it being out of production for a decade or so... And the empty holder for multi-fuel burners are listed there as well - splendid for those who want to build their own Polaris based KAP-replica…
The approximate date they gave for international shipping had passed (only by a few weeks, so no big deal really), so I have been checking their site every couple days for any updates. Well, today is the day! While not 100% totally worldwide at the time of this post (website says: These areas are not yet available. Coming in February: Asia, Africa, Australia & Oceania), they now list many international shipping prices (which seem very reasonable to me) and terms! Time to start a shopping list! I did look through a few pages of the webshop, and it does look like, at this time at least, they note some items have shipping restrictions to certain countries. I also see some new items! Woo Hoo! https://shop.trangia.se/en/terms-conditions.html Thank you Trangia!!!
Maybe I am missing something, but a Trangia 25-2 HA set, with shipping and taxes, came to about $209 US. On Amazon it is about $125. Too big a difference to ignore.
I understand that manufacturers which sell wholesale generally either do not sell to the general public or sell at high prices to protect their wholesale accounts. It would be bad business to undercut your retailers.
Some items are not available, currently, in the US, so this may make them available. The Primus cup is one example.
