So I went out for a drive and stopped in at one of the local antique stores to have a look at what may be new in the store. A couple passes through suggested the same old, but the owners had moved some displays around. When I was just about to leave I looked up on one of the shelves and...my heart started to race as I saw a small tin with Radius marked on it. I went to grab it and on lifting it, the lack of weight told me the tin was void of said Radius 20 stove. The tin itself is in outstanding shape (near mint) but sadly lacking the stove that I still have only seen pictures of. I guess this one moves to the front of the must have list....as I now have a home for it.
The only thing wrong with the Radius 20 is that without knowing exactly how to pack it - there is no way to get it all into the tin...
Duane....I hate myself for envying you so...2...wow...I would say my tin is in as good nick as what you have....but Im short a rather important feature..the stove. Are they smaller than a 96? The tin appears to be smaller than the optimus/primus version.
Since I asked the question, I went and dug a 96 tin out...yep,same. Judging from that last pic...your tin is really sweet (more envy... )
The Radius 20 has a different windscreen than Primus 96 which cannot be disassembled. But you will eventually get it all into the tin. It just take some time. Bjørn
One of the few left on my “must have” list,,, the Radius 20. I too picked up an empty Radius 20 tin some time ago,,, the few stoves I’ve seen on fleabay have been above a car payment in price, and usually not all original parts. Wish, wait, and watch,,,
The windshield fits upside down in the corner with flat side towards the tank and spirit bottle inside - easy peasy Flat side of windshield clearly visible here - standing upside up.
