Looking thru the SRG, only saw two tins that had a embossed lid for the '23, '24 Primus 96 stoves, no other years, did not open each thread. My '23 has the embossed case lid. Plus a few of my finds the last few years except the litho tin. Some items I had never seen before. Never paid attention to the Pocket stove with the clips inside the lid, or "Original" litho tin or meths container. Duane
Hi @hikerduane Hi these particular embossed lids appear of Pocket Primus stoves, which were only available through Condrup, the British and Colonial Distributors of Primus products. The SRG contains at least 22 of these Pocket Primus outfits, the first dated 1911, the most recent !959. The internal clips on the inside of the Pocket Primus lids, which you show in your first photo were absent by 1926. Best Regards, Kerophile.
@kerophile, George, my point is there are only a few with the Primus 96 embossed on the lid, see the last page in the SRG for Primus 96 stoves. Please see the fourth photo down in my thread. Sorry if I was unclear. I posted pics of some of my other finds from the last couple years, not stating Pocket stoves are rare. Duane

Im assuming (as I have never seen that before) that the 6th picture down is a flame spreader? ( or is it big enough to be a pan ring ?) Its beautiful. ( And I want one now )...lol
